The versatility of the Ventrac continues to attract new customers year on year, says UK supplier Price Turfcare.
Essentially consisting of one traction unit, the 25hp diesel 4520Y can be fitted with over 30 attachments and accessories.
Its ultra-low centre of gravity and light footprint enables 30-degree slope capability and use in wet of boggy areas where more traditional machines are unable to go.

The Ventrac Quick Mount System allows accessories to be mounted and dismounted by one operator in a matter of minutes. Ventrac designs and manufactures its own accessories and attachments ensuring optimum performance and usability with a one stop shop for service parts and support, however, the three-point-hitch increases versatility by accepting third party attachments which are commonly used.
The tractor unit uses a simple but very efficient drive train making a sub-25hp engine viable, which does not require complex and costly exhaust aftertreatment apparatus as it is below threshold above which such technology becomes mandatory for diesel engines.
Although well known for its array of mowers, many users are benefitting from the hard landscaping attachments available. An example would be the KG540 Power Rake. Steve Lloyd, Course Manager at The Worcestershire Golf Club acquired a Ventrac package in 2023.
Included in Steve’s choice of attachments was a Power Rake. Steve says: “We bought the Ventrac to try and do more than one thing with the power unit. It dovetailed with plans trying to keep the golf course more accessible by putting more and more pathways around, and we've gone with gravel paths.
“With the Power Rake, if we do get a little bit of washout on paths, we can send somebody out quickly in the morning before play begins. It's user friendly and not as difficult, slow or disruptive as a 360 digger.”
