This heavy duty Sisis Rotorake 600 HD is one of the most versatile scarifiers we have come across.
It is a superb scarifier and is suitable for regular, seasonal use at a shallow setting or heavier annual work at a deeper setting when required.It can also be used for verti-cutting , producing continuous slits for water and air absorption to assist with aeration and relieve compaction.
These features make it ideal for use on golf greens and tees, bowling greens, cricket squares and ornamental lawned areas where it produces excellent results. With six forward operating speeds for efficiency under varying conditions and depths, and including a reverse gear for manoeuvrability, it offers front or rear discharge. The user-friendly operator controls give maximum operator safety.
The Rotorake principle uses a series of blades rotating at high speed in the opposite direction to that of the conventional cylinder mower. This means the blades cut upwards, continuously taking grass away from the surface rather than pushing it into the surface of the turf. This helps to ensure that the machine is held to the ground and a regular working depth is maintained.
