The Maxipro is a top handle, compression sprayer that shares many of the same benefits of a knapsack but in a more portable, lighter configuration that’s ideal for spot spraying weeds in small to medium areas. The sprayer comes in either a 5L or 8L size tank and pumps to the same 3 Bar pressure as a CP knapsack.
Similarities don’t end there, the Maxipro sprayers share the same type of lance and trigger as the bigger backpacks and the nozzle cap is the same universal size so nozzles are interchangeable. This expands the type of spraying that can be done from; herbicides, insecticides and fungicides to seaweed and biostimulant treatments.
The filler cap is a 90mm wide, the lance is GRP (glassfibre reinforced plastic) and measures 340mm for the CP and 500mm for the CP8 Maxipro, the heavy duty trigger has an integral filter while the reinforced hose is 1m long.
The Maxipro comes with an adjustable shoulder strap and pad, two nozzles (yellow hollow cone and green anvil/ polijet) plus is fitted with Viton seals which are much more chemically resistant than others. Made in Europe, the quality of the thick polypropylene tank withstands higher pressures, remains stable on a wide base and all the ancillary parts are tough – designed for professional use.
The Maxipro sprayers pump easily to pressure in 20 strokes or less and can release pressure quickly via a wide, robust safety valve. The ergonomically designed tank ensures it empties completely – not wasting a drop. In addition, as with all Cooper Pegler sprayers – it has a number of spare parts and lots of accessories that are compatible across the range.
